My Twitter friend Leslee Horner has a blog called “Waiting for the Click,” and this week she had a very nice entry about “dying daily.”  Here’s an excerpt, which is actually advice from her friend Biswajit, a poet.  Click the quote to visit her blog and read the rest for yourself:

throw away all fear
thoughts are like old garments
you keep on changing
leave everything
even the fear to lose this being
what is beautiful is your soul
so nourish it with love
devotion
faith

I’m going to mull this one over and see what my own thoughts are about “dying daily.”  And that, in a nutshell, is why I love reading and learning, because of the questions that I come up with to discuss with myself.

One Response to “Dying daily”

  • Thanks so much for quoting my blog here. This particular excerpt was actually not a part of the Buddha story but just advice from my friend, Biswajit. He writes a poetry blog. http://bluebardpoems.wordpress.com (I think that’s it.) He is IT guy by day and mystic by night…a truly lovely soul!

So glad it inspired you and thanks for the link up!
