Someone didn't want to get up this morning...

Ian and I rolled into New Hampshire from New York at after midnight last night/this morning.

We had one of the best weekends in recent memory; one of my verybestfriendsforever had her 30th birthday party extravaganza and her friends from across the country all came out to help her celebrate.

The party was just the tip of the “awesome weekend” iceberg; one of the many fun scenarios involved Ian and I individually singing karaoke songs at a bar and bringing the house down with foot-stomping applause.

Until this weekend, I had actually never gone out from 3pm until 4:30am and enjoyed myself, but I’m very happy to report there’s a first time for everything.

And, to beat Hank to the punch, I was the designated driver (as usual) so I did not touch more than a glass of beer during the entire 13+ hour period; I can have as much fun sober as drunk.  I’d even say I have more fun, because I enjoy filling Ian in on the parts of the weekend he might not have otherwise remembered.

Cooper was a busy boy the whole weekend, getting into trouble at Grandma’s house because unlike his other Grammy, there are two dogs to keep him terribly busy and in as much trouble as he can handle.

In case you couldn’t guess, that’s a lot of trouble.
